Tony Kosoko
Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist
B.Sc (Hons) Physiotherapy MCSP
Director/Founder

Following an 11 year career as a professional dancer Tony graduated from the four year physiotherapy honours degree programme from Kings College University in 1995. He then spent 5 years working at two of London’s leading teaching hospitals gaining a wide variety of experience before specialising in neuromusculoskeletal physiotherapy.

In the private sector he has worked in occupational health, sports injury and dance medicine/rehabilitation. Tony has worked as a physiotherapist with Rambert Dance Company and Merce Cunningham Dance Company.

He is committed to continuing professional development and has completed a postgraduate Certificate in Sports physiotherapy, he is currently completing exams for membership of the Manipulation Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MACP).

Tony undertook his clinical Pilates training with Polestar Pilates in 2001 and was an educator for Polestar on their clinical Pilates courses. He has also taught in the area of clinical Pilates/rehabilitation for the Pilates Foundation, Alan Herdman Studio and individual physiotherapy and Pilates studios in London.

Tony’s core belief is that as physiotherapists we do not just treat symptoms but aim to identify the cause. Our aim should be to identify, treat with the combination of skills and adjuncts at our disposal, resolve, educate and prevent recurrence.

Having been a dancer Tony maintains his fitness with regular ballet class, Pilates, swimming and running (still trying to dip under 3 hours for London). Tony has studied Pilates, Gyrotonics and Gyrokinesis as a client with many renowned teachers. He is also a black belt in Taekwondo and in between times tries to play jazz guitar to “relax”.
