James studied Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) for five years at Westminster University. He graduated in July 1999. Whilst at college, he also studied various forms of Bodywork, including Swedish, Chinese and Sports Massage.

Since leaving University he has completed a postgraduate course in Japanese Acupuncture and holds a postgraduate diploma in practical dermatology (the treatment of skin disease with TCM).

Since qualifying he has worked extensively for the London Lighthouse, where he specializes in the treatment of HIV and AIDS. James is also currently studying part-time to become an Osteopath.
