The Practice was established in 2003 to specifically bring together the disciplines of Physiotherapy and Pilates.
Pilates was created and developed by Joseph Pilates in the early part of the 20th century as both an exercise and rehabilitative regime. Many of the first clients of Pilates were dancers who benefited from using Pilates as an adjunct to their dance training and also utilised Pilates as part of their rehabilitation when they were injured.
The Physiotherapists at The Practice are some of the most highly qualified and experienced Clinical Pilates practitioners in the U.K. In addition all are leaders in their particular fields with postgraduate qualifications including Masters in Pain Management, Sports Physiotherapy, Clinical Pilates Acupuncture and Manipulation.
