ASHLEIGH ROBINSON

Pilates Practitioner and Massage Therapist

South African Ashleigh has always been involved both competitively and recreationally with sport, she spent her early years competing nationally in swimming and gymnastics.

The desire to pursue a career in massage started early and in 2006 she completed her studies specialising in sports and remedial massage.

Following this passion for sport, she travelled with several sports teams as their in-house sports massage therapist. After a skiing accident damaged a disc in her back, Ashleigh was introduced to Pilates, and in 2008 completed her teacher training in both mat and equipment work with Body Arts and Science International. She taught in a chiropractor clinic in South Africa, before moving to London in 2009 where she worked in several reputable Physiotherapy and

Osteopath clinics, expanding her knowledge on both clinical and rehab based Pilates, before finding The Practice.

Ashleigh is a keen runner, swimmer, netball player, traveller and is currently studying for a degree in Psychology.

Ashleigh believes that by educating her clients about movement and helping them engage with their own bodies, she is empowering people to lead a pain-free life.
